10 Week Spinning Workshop

Service Description

Within the course you will learn an introduction into spinning for beginners and a more in depth bank of knowledge for the more experienced spinner once a continuous thread can be achieved. Your own spinning wheel is not an essential as they readily available in the studio, although you can learn on your own wheel if you prefer. Advice is at hand for materials and equipment. Fibre preparation and spinning techniques will be learnt as a part of this course. Fibres are available for sale from the studio or welcome to bring your own. The course runs as two hour sessions over ten weeks, with a half term break in between. The sessions run on Tuesday or Thursday mornings from 10am till 12pm. Refreshments available throughout the sessions.
